Yn Moddey Dhoo (Manx for "The Black Dog") is a story-rich, historical first-person horror game from solo developer Reginald Cide. Set in Peel Castle on the Isle of Man in 1666, it casts the player as Edward Christian, a drunker soldier who challenges the Moddey Dhoo, the black dog of Peel Castle, to follow him as he walks the dark corridors alone. Based on Manx folklore, told through the Manx language and featuring distinctive 1-bit dithered visuals, Yn Moddey Dhoo promises to be a memorable experience.
